Laforet Visuals is committed to staying on the cutting edge of digital photography. We employ Canon high-resolution digital cameras (EOS 1Ds MKIII and a variety of medium format digital backs) to capture our images - as well as their state-of-the-art archival printers. Our studio is exclusively run with Apple desktop and laptop machines and our entire image library is managed with their Aperture software. Our clients' images are stored on two Apple Xserve RAID 5 Arrays (pictured to the left.) The final images are then stored online with Photoshelter.com. Clients can upload or download images directly to our servers - as well as see private galleries of initial and final edits that they can share with others. The studio has a strong partnership in developing new hardware and software with Apple, Canon, Gretag/X-Rite, Lexar and Bogen.
